Aluminum Oxide, Medical Grade

Our medical grade white fused aluminum oxides differ from standard grade material due to a cleaning process performed on the raw feed stock material (bauxite) prior to the fusing process.  The result is an extremely pure crystal with little to no heavy metal content, and is very white in color.  Our material is the accepted material for medical use, such as medical implants, dermabrasion, and cosmetic use. 

Packaging:  300 to 400 lb drums, depending on the grit size.  There are some sizes where we can ship in 50 lb bags or boxes, but this is not recommended due to the possibility of getting debris in the material when removing it from the bags. 

Grades Available:  All FEPA grades down to a fine F1200 powder.

Samples:  Depending on the grade, samples can be difficult to come by, without you purchasing an entire drum.  (We are unable to crack open a 300 lb drum just to send a 1 lb sample out).  However, in some grades, we can sell you a 50 lb bag, but it depends on the grade.  Please contact us to see if we have a single bag we can sell you.

Alternate Applications:  This type of white aluminum oxide is so white that is often used by epoxy flooring manufacturers.  Note:  We are able to custom grade this for you if your volume requirements justify the cost.
