Specifically, this is a fine boron carbide flour used as a sintering aid in the manufacture of silicon carbide ceramic forms. The D50 average particle size of this material is approximately 1.7 - 2.0 micron, and is generally added in at a rate of ~2%. Often used in combination with Green SiC 0.5 micron Sintering media.
