This material is a very fine Boron Carbide Sintering Powder, which is typically added at ~2% by weight. This powder has a large collection of fines, with the D50 average particle size approximately 1.7 - 2.0 micron.
It is used specifically as an additive for sintering Silicon Carbide Ceramics. Sold by the pound.
