Abrasive medias are often incorporated into epoxies and paints for industrial floor abrasion resistance and traction (anti skid)applications.
Generally, coarser grits such as 24, 30, 36, 46, and 54 grades are used.
If you do not wish the abrasive grain to change the color of your paint, you will likely want to order white fused aluminum oxide. However, if your floor is a dark color, or you do not mind visually seeing the abrasive particles, then you could get away with a more economical abrasive such as Sinterblast or Brown Aluminum Oxide. Black Silicon Carbide is also commonly used in flooring applications.
