Due to the variety of products and packaging, there is a lot of information needed for us to quote most products. However, some products are easily ordered on-line, such as small quantities of silicon carbides, aluminum oxides, and boron carbides. Products with a zero dollar amount are generally items that not only require a custom freight quotation, they are items that are priced based on quantity of order, and for this reason, are not offered for on-line purchasing. We ask that for such items you fill out our Request A Quote form, and that will allow us to send you a formal quotation, with freight.
Collect Freight: We can always ship products billed collect to your freight account via your preferred vendor for truckload, LTL (less-than-truckload), and/or UPS/Fed-X Freight services. Unfortunately this is not the case with automated small orders which can be processed online.
Residential Deliveries: When shipping to a residential address, we will often quote freight to a local terminal. You will then need to pick up the material yourself. This option can often save you a considerable amount due to residential surcharges which can often add up to $150.00s! If you must take delivery at a residence, let us know this when you fill out the Get A Quote form.
Returns: Due to the high cost of shipping heavy items, it can be very cost prohibitive to return items. We therefore require you to call us for a Return Authorization Number. We will then provide instructions on where to ship the media back to. Only items purchased within the past 30 days can be returned. You will be responsible for all shipping costs back to us, unless we accidentally shipped you the wrong product.
