Silicon Metal

Although industrial grade Silicon Metals (Si) are used across many industries, it is most often used to create stronger and lighter weight metals, such as aluminum products.  It is used to make everything from semiconductors and solar cells, to high speed fiber optics, pharmaceuticals, and silicone rubbers.

Typical Industrial Grades:

  • - 200 F
  • -325 F - at this time, this is the only size we offer, usually packaged in metric ton supersacks.  If you need a smaller amount, please contact us via our RFQ form.
  • -20 micron

Purity:

  • Purity will range from 98.5 % Si up to 99.6%, depending on which purity level you choose.

Sizing:

  • Silicon Metals is available in a variety of sizes as large as 2", down to a -20 micron powder.  If you require a special grade, we may be able to screen this product to meet your specifications.  Please fill out our RFQ Form here.
