Cosmetic walnut shell is a soft abrasive often used in cosmetics products and hand cleaners. It makes a great exfoliant and scrub, while at the same time absorbing oils from the skin. The cosmetic media, as opposed to regular English media, has undergone a second cleaning process, which removes most of the darker specks of shell membrane.
