Reclaimed Steel Grit & Grit

Reclaimed, or used steel grit and shot is available for purchase. Clients who previously were purchasing new material, are now switching to reclaimed, due to the rapidly rising scrap surcharges. Reclaimed media is clean, screened, oil-free material, and can be hardened or softened according to your order.? Our reclaimed material has no added scrap surcharge, and is hundreds of dollars per net ton cheaper than new material.

Although the price of reclaimed media is more stable that new media (which will adjust monthly), reclaimed media will adjust as well. Please keep this in mind.

Since the media is reclaimed, it is only available in G-40 or finer, but does depend on availability. So please contact us if you need a larger size (in small quantities only, such as less than 3 tons.)

All metallic abrasives are sold by the net ton, or per 2,000lbs. Packaging normally consists of steel drums, although we can package into 50lb bags, palletized.
