COLD FORGED STEEL AGGREGATE FOR CONCRETE

This product is a free flowing, contaminant free steel ballast made of cold worked steel aggregate, usually used for making heavy weight concrete blocks or walls.  Specific density is quite high - 7.8gm/cc, which is higher than regular cast steel shot which only has a density of 7.0 gm/cc.  Reduced slump to its particle shape. 

Density can be modified to fit your exact weight per cubic foot.  Can also be custom screened to meet your specs.   Common sizes are -3, -4, -6 mesh.

Many packaging options from bulk dump truck to steel drums to 50 lb paper bags.  Sold only by the net ton or more.
