What Size Should I Buy? Anchor patterns will vary based on variables such as hardness & type of steel, level of corrosion being removed, blast angle, blast distance from the steel, etc. These mil profiles are approximations only, for Brown Fused Aluminum Oxides, including SinterBlast and SinterBall.
4 mils profile = 16 grit
3 - 3.5 mils profile = 24 grit
2.5 - 3 mils profile = 36 grit
1.5 - 2 mils profile = 54 / 60 grit
0.5 - 1.5 mils profile = 80 / 120 grit
