Ultra Soft Steel Shot – Non-Damaging Blasting Media,  steel shot for delicate metal parts

Ultra Soft Steel Shot is an ultra-low-carbon, spherical steel blasting media engineered for cleaning, deburring and surface finishing applications where little or no change to the workpiece can be tolerated. With a typical hardness of just 12–15 HRC, Ultra Soft Shot provides the density and durability of steel while producing a much gentler blasting action than conventional steel shot.

Designed for both air-blast cabinets and centrifugal wheel-blast equipment, Ultra Soft Steel Shot is ideal for delicate metal components, aluminum die castings, investment castings, molds, machined surfaces and other parts that can be damaged by harder abrasive media.

Unlike glass bead and plastic blasting media, Ultra Soft Steel Shot offers extremely high recyclability, with typical durability of approximately 6,000–7,000 cycles, helping reduce abrasive consumption, dust generation and media replacement costs.
