We are currently receiving better shipping rates from FedEx® than from UPS®. Please make sure you take a close look at all shipping options during checkout.
In the goal of cutting shipping costs, we are going to run a one month "test" of FedEx rates, in comparison with UPS, starting Monday, 1-23-12.
Since all of our sandblasting medias are heavy, dense material, we recognize that shipping costs are a major concern to you!
During checkout, make sure you take a close look and compare ALL the available shipping methods. We will only run this "test" for about 30 days time.
All new customers can receive 5% off their order - without formally registering as a customer!
Simply use coupon code "fe156dde1aguest" at checkout to obtain a 5% coupon - good for any product, unlimited number of uses, AND good for the next year! (Submit the code under the Shipping Estimator on the order page.)
We know you will love our products, so try us out!
Starting the week of November 7th, our -5 micron HBN (Hexagonal Boron Nitride) powder is going to be available in smaller quantites for gun enthusiasts.
You can now order your bullet and gun barrel lube in 1/4, and 1/2 lb quantities!
Packaging on "less than 1 lb" quantities will include a wide mouth screw top jar, with a desiccant. Very convenient for adding small quantities to your tumbler. Make sure the lid is screwed on tight, and your HBN powder should last a very long time.
Did You Know? Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide 16 Grit will leave a 4 mils profile, and a 24 will generally leave a 3 mils profile on mild steel. NOTE: This is based on using a constant air pressure of 90-95 psi nozzle pressure, long venturi nozzle held 18-24" from the surface, and at an angle of 85-90 degrees to the workpiece. Anchor pattern on harder metals will be less unless Air Pressure and/or abrasive mesh sizes are adjusted. Due to cost, Aluminum Oxide should ideally be used only in an enclosed blast room or cabinet where it can be contained and reused.
